JHS Bear Hugs is a service club supporting the local nonprofit community organization Bear Hugs.
To earn membership credit for the year you need to...
- Pay $15 dues (you get a JHS Bear Hugs t-shirt)
- Earn 15 points
- Each volunteer hour is one point (at least 8 of your 15 pts must be actual volunteer hours)
- Donations are 1 - 3 points depending on the collection.
Some activites that we are planning for this year...
- Fundraisers to help support Bear Hugs with financial needs.
- Dine out events at participating restaurants
- Raffle baskets
- Change wars
- Collection drives
- Winter coats, gloves, etc
- Houseware collections
- Easter baskets
- Share any ideas you may have :)
