What is mock trial?:   Mock Trial is a competitive team activity where the team must win to advance to the next round of competition.  Students play the roles of witnesses and lawyers against teams from area schools at district competition with the goal to advance and win a state championship.  The case performed is created by the Ohio Center for Law Related Education, and is a relevant Constitutional topic that students find fun and interesting.  (Examples: illegal search and seizure, the death penalty, illegal immigration's effects on teenagers, etc.)
