Hello! I am looking forward to getting to know and working with you this year! Here you will be able to find information about the class I instruct which is English 9. This interactive website will allow students and parents to access the class syllabus, lesson plans, standards, classroom materials, homework, textbook links and other programs/links we will utilize throughout the year. Many of these items will also be available on Polaris as well.

This is my thirteenth year teaching at Jackson High School. I teach English 9. I aid in planning Jackson's AfterProm and I have also volunteered with Girls on the Run of Stark County program. I love my job and working with young people! I have Bachelor of Science degrees in Education and Journalism from Ohio University. My hobbies include reading, volunteering, running 5ks, freelancing for local publications, watching hockey, doing the Warrior Dash (3x), and spending time with my husband Dan, my son Luke, my daughter Cami, my beagle Hershey and my extended family and my friends. I look forward to getting to know you and having a wonderful year with you! :)
