About Mrs. Kohli

  • I am a 1997 graduate of Cedarville College where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.  I was fortunate to get a job teaching fourth grade at Rolling Hills Learning Center in Springfield, Ohio immediately after graduation.  While teaching at Rolling Hills I earned my Master's Degree in Earth Science from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.  After three years of teaching fourth grade I made the move to middle school science, teaching 8th grade science for 4 years at South Vienna Middle School.  In the fall of 2004 I was hired as an eighth grade science teacher at Jackson Memorial Middle School.

My husband Tom and I were married in December of 1999. Tom is an Associate Principal at Lake Middle/High School and previously taught high school Engligh and coached football for the past 25 years.  We have two children, Ryan 20 and Courtney 16.

I enjoy almost all sports and enjoyed coaching JV Softball and Middle School girls' volleyball, basketball, and track before having children.  I am also an Ohio State fan and love watching college football!  GO BUCKS!!  Besides sports I enjoy cooking, spending time at the beach and listening to music, especially country music.  Those that know me well would say I am a serious Kenny Chesney fan... I go see him in concert each summer.

I'm looking forward to getting to know my new students and cannot wait for a successful year!
