• Mrs. Danko - English Language Arts

     

              Hi! My name is Mrs. Danko, and I teach 6th Grade Language Arts!  My husband, Max, and I have a creative, beautiful 2 year old daughter, Elora, and an active, sweet Goldendoodle named Lola, who I love to share pictures of and talk about!  They are my entire world, and my favorite place to be is with them!  We are also excited to meet our son this February 2024!

              I am a proud 2008 graduate from Walsh Jesuit High School, in which my love for soccer grew immensely!  In 2012, I graduated from Walsh University earning my Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood Education.  Most recently in 2016, I graduated from Ashland Univerisity obtaining my Master of Education in Educational Administration and Principal License.

              I previously lived on the small island, commonly known as Put-in-Bay, where I taught all four subjects!  Prior to island life, I began my career in the Canton City School District, where I also served as the Women's Head Varsity Soccer Coach at Canton McKinley High School.  

              Outside the school day, I spend a large amount of time running, hiking, and being with my family.  Being outside is my absolute favorite, so when the weather is nice we are often at the towpath!  I also enjoy cooking, baking, calligraphy, and am always open to trying new things! :)
