CAFÉ in the Classroom
Gail Boushey and Joan Moser developed this system which allows even the youngest readers to self-monitor their progress, and chart their goals within the larger context of classroom community.
I had the opportunity to attend a workshop presented by the Gail Boushey and Joan Moser this summer to learn how to implement the CAFE into my second grade classroom. I am very excited to share the wonderful strategies with my students and watch them flourish as independent readers!
