I am so fortunate to be teaching Amherst Elementary. What a great place to work! I have been teaching for 23 years! WOW! Where has the time gone? I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade through the years. 

I have been married for 22 years to my husband, John. We have two wonderful children. Ryan is a Jackson graduate and lives in Asheville, North Carolina.  Our daughter Rachel is a sophomore at JHS and is involved in the JSA program.   

Besides reading, I enjoy going to movies. I will go with just about anyone to the movies. It is a favorite of my whole family. I also like watching Dancing with the Stars on TV. I wish I could move like they do!
