Picking Up/Dropping Off Your Child At School
You may drop off your child each morning after 8:30 AM at door 7E (this is the door/exit to the cafeteria). When you drop off your child please stay in your car and drop your child off at the door. You can follow the line and pull up to one of three drop off/pick up spots. One of our staff members will meet you. If you walk your child to school, you may walk them to the front doors and they can enter through the front office. Students will be supervised in the cafeteria until being dismissed to class at 8:45. Students who are dropped off after 8:45 will be sent straight to class.
Students who arrive after the tardy bell rings at 8:55 will need to be signed in at the front office by their parent/guardian. In the absence of specific written/signed instructions from parents, all children will board the bus at the end of the day. Please notify us in writing if there is a need for your child’s early/alternate dismissal. We do not take these directions over the telephone, except in the case of extreme emergency.
Parent pickup will not begin until the buses are dismissed at approximately 3:35. If you need to pick up your child for an appointment at this time, we must have a note in the morning specifying the person picking up your child. Your child will then be dismissed to you beginning at 3:35 from door 7E. Please have photo identification available to show the staff members who are on duty. All parents must drive through the parent pick up line to pick up their children. Due to safety concerns, children will not be released to parents at the door. If you walk to school then you may pick up your child in the front office.
For early dismissal prior to 3:20, please park your car and come into the office to sign out your child.
