Hello,
Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year!
This is my 27th year in education, all of them working with students with special needs at Jackson Memorial Middle School. I have taught everything from 5th grade small group social studies to 8th grade small group language arts and have also enjoyed teaching in many different language arts classrooms. Continuing as the Department Chair, I will also be embarking on a new career path as Case Facilitator at JMMS. As such, my primary responsibility will be writing IEPs for all 8th grade students and some 6th and 7th. Intervention specialists will have more time to do what they do best . . . teach!
For those of you returning, welcome back . . . and for those of you new to the middle school, you're in for an exciting three years!
